Medical examinations (non-NHS)
Certain services provided by the Doctors are not covered by the NHS and fees are payable for such items as:
- HGV & PSV licences
- Elderly driver licences
- Insurance
- Pre-employment medicals
- Private certificates
- Holiday vaccines subject to NHS guidelines
- Insurance claims
- Fitness for sports
Please ask for advice from reception if you have a form that you think the doctor needs to fill in. You may be asked to leave it at reception and collect it at a later date. A charge will be made for forms that are not covered by the NHS (see list of charges at reception).
Please Note: Please note that the preparation of medical reports is, in most cases, a non-contractual service and is not included under standard NHS care. As such, a fee applies. We kindly ask that you confirm your acceptance of this fee before we begin processing your request.
Please also be aware that, while we strive to complete all such requests within two calendar months from the date payment is received, our primary obligation is to the provision of patient care. As a result, there may be instances where we are unable to meet this timeframe.
- The doctors do not sign passport forms
- Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine is now available at the practice, please call reception for more information
