You can contact our doctor, nurse or other care professional online using the below link for non-urgent queries. This is viewed within 3 working days by the team. Any queries needing a more prompt response should be via our phone line or walk-in services.

Urgent appointments

To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday) during opening times:

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or care professional to help you.

Routine appointments

To request a routine appointment in advance during opening times:

We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or care professional to help you.

Appointments are available in the morning, afternoon and evenings 5 days a week and can be booked on the day or in advance.

Our normal GP appointments are for 10 minutes.

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email

The appointment mode, as highlighted above, will be agreed with you when you contact us to make an appointment based on your preference and clinical need.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other care professional you would prefer to see/speak to
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

Patients are requested to phone as early as possible to request a home visit. The doctor on call will call you back and arrange the home visit if necessary. Only emergency visits will be arranged later on the same day.

You may be considered for a home visit if:

  • It would be detrimental to your condition or recovery if you were to travel to the surgery.
  • Your medical condition affects your mobility so you are unable to travel without using an ambulance i.e. unable to take a car or taxi.

Accessibility

A disabled patients’ WC is provided. If access proves difficult for any of our disabled patients, we will be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.

Accessibility for patients with hearing impairments

Due to COVID -19 there is a necessity to wear masks to keep patients, as well as staff safe.

If you are deaf, the use of masks will hinder your ability to lip read.

We therefore ask that you email ahead of an appointment or email in to arrange an appointment.

This will allow us to prepare for your arrival ensuring you receive a good service.
