The district nursing team consist of a small team of nurses who can be contacted using our ask a nurse a question form or request an appointment form.
Their duties include visiting patients of any age in their homes, giving practical assistance or offering professional health care advice.
The practice nurse Jo and HCA Janice see patients by appointment only. Other duties are:
- Taking blood samples
- Infant and adult immunisations, including travel vaccines
- Cervical smears
- IUCD removal
- Dressings and removal of stitches
- Blood pressure, asthma and diabetes check-ups
- ECG
